Dr Sian Thrasher

Dr Sian Thrasher is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who works with people to help them manage emotional distress. She uses a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) approach, amongst others to help clients move forward with problems.
She works with adults and teens (16+). She has specialised experience in treating anxiety disorders (OCD, PTSD, generalised anxiety disorder (GAD), phobias) and notes, “In my clinics, I am regularly impressed by the speed of recovery and extent of benefits which can be reached using relatively brief interventions.”

Nicky likes to upcycle furniture and buy and sell collectables. She is currently a carer for her mother and loves animals, especially dogs.

Nicky Edmans

Nicky Edmans is a Nurse and Cognitive Behavioural Therapist who works with people to help them manage emotional and physical distress. With over two decade’s experience providing Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Nicky has worked in both the NHS and in the private sector to help adults and teenagers (16+) to overcome a range of difficulties and improve their mental wellbeing. In addition to being an experienced CBT therapist and Supervisor, Nicky is also an accredited Mindfulness teacher. She has specialised skills in treating people with anxiety and depression who also experience co-morbid physical health conditions (such as Long-COVID, Diabetes, Heart Disease, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome CFS/ME, Pain and Respiratory Conditions) and champions techniques that cultivate self-compassion and kindness to others.

Becky Farrell

Becky Farrell is our Accounts Manager and one of the friendly admin team at CBT Networks. She has been working here since 2019.

Becky will be one of the first people you make contact with and is happy to answer any questions that may come up about having therapy with us. Working side by side with her colleague, Vic Alvarez, their number one priority is help you feel confident and cared for.

Becky’s main duties include caring for accounts and administration. She is extremely diligent and makes this process as smooth as possible. If you have any queries regarding payments, she’s on hand to help. 

Becky loves reading, travelling to exciting places and spending time with her children.

Victoria Alvarez

Victoria Alvarez is one of the friendly admin team at CBT Networks. She has been working for CBT Networks since 2012 (minus a few years where she moved to live in sunny Tenerife).

Vic is one of your first points of contact and always available to answer any questions or queries you may have. Together with her colleague, Becky Farrell, they work to ensure that the admin side of therapy is as seamless and efficient as possible.

Aside from taking care of day-to-day admin, Vic manages Dr Thrasher’s medicolegal work – answering solicitor enquiries and queries, arranging appointments, and assisting clients with paperwork.

Vic loves travelling, trying to train her feisty Jack Russell Hepzibah, and honing YouTube-acquired cabinet making skills.
